Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Last updated: 13 August 2026.

Who we are

This website is operated by E L Workforce Pty Ltd (ABN 32 734 958 200), trading as EL Workforce. We are a recruitment agency placing blue and white collar staff across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia. Where this policy says "we" or "us", it means EL Workforce.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you fill in our contact form

The enquiry form on this site asks for:

We use this to respond to your enquiry and to work out how we can help. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone outside EL Workforce for marketing.

When you browse the site

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this website. It tells us things like which pages get read, roughly which part of the country visitors are in, and whether people arrive from Google or somewhere else. It does not tell us who you are.

Google Analytics sets cookies, which are small files stored by your browser. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. The site works fine without them.

Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, as part of running and securing the site.

When you register for work

Job seekers register through our FoundU portal, which is a separate system hosted outside this website. Anything you submit there is covered by FoundU's own privacy terms as well as this policy. We use that information to match you to roles, check you are eligible to work, and manage your placement.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where we need to:

Some of these providers store data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to make sure anyone handling information on our behalf protects it properly.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and candidate records for as long as we need them for the purpose we collected them, and for as long as the law requires us to. When we no longer need information, we destroy it or remove anything that identifies you.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee the security of anything sent to us over the internet, but we treat your information as if it were our own.

Seeing or correcting your information

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Get in touch using the enquiry form on this site and tell us what you need. We will respond within a reasonable time, normally 30 days.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to sort it out. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
